Robin HolmesVice President for Student Affairs Contact Robin H. Holmes is a clinical psychologist and Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Oregon. She served as Dean of Students and director of the University Counseling and Testing Center prior to her appointment as Vice President. Dr. Holmes is a licensed clinical psychologist and has worked at the UO since 1992. She has taught classes and workshops on multiculturalism, multicultural competencies in therapy, cross-cultural dynamics in conflict mediation, as well identity formation and development. Holmes has taught a variety of multiculturally focused classes including "Counseling Diverse Populations," a graduate-level course for counseling and clinical psychology students. She developed a freshmen seminar, "Building Community Inside and Out," and co-developed a CoDaC-sponsored class, "Facilitating Difficult Dialogues." She specializes in building cultural competency, fostering multicultural approaches to therapy, and teaching facilitation skills.
